Admissions in UGJFA
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION IN THE UNIVERSITY OF GJAKOVA "FEHMI AGANI"
Every academic year, the University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" announces a public competition for student enrollment in the first year of regular Bachelor studies for each program it offers.
All candidates who have successfully completed high school in the Republic of Kosovo and in other countries outside the Republic of Kosovo in the same conditions of the competition have the right to compete.
Within the general determined number, based on AI no. 09/2016 of MEST, the university enrolls up to 12%, full-time students from the non-majority community. The 12% quota of places reserved for student enrollment by the non-majority community is distributed proportionally, according to the percentage of the total number of students for each faculty program separately.
Based on human considerations, the University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani" reserves the right to accept candidates with special needs.
Up to 2% of Presheva, , Bujanovci and Medvegja can enroll in UGJFA, based on the quotas set by the MEST, within the total number of students; up to 2% from Macedonia and Albania and up to 1% from Montenegro. Candidates who were born in the above mentioned countries, while they have completed high school in the Republic of Kosovo, are subject to the same conditions for admission as candidates from Kosovo.
Students from other countries can also be admitted to the University, in the same competition conditions as candidates from Kosovo.
Non-Kosovar candidates are considered candidates who have completed high school outside Kosovo and when applying to the competition, the recognition of the school institution should be verified based on the list of MEST which is submitted to all academic units. These candidates, upon application, must also submit the nostrification of the diploma from the relevant institutions. Recognition (nostrification) of diplomas is done by MEST.
Each candidate can only compete in one program. Current university students cannot reapply to any other program.
False declaration in the self-declaration form is considered a criminal offense under Article 391 of the Criminal Code (CODE NO.04 / L-082) of the Republic of Kosovo.
METHOD OF CANDIDATE SELECTION
The selection of candidates for all faculties is done according to the following criteria:
1. For students who have high school diplomas and have not had a Matura exam:
The maximum number of points according to the following criteria is 100 points:
Success in high school up to 30 points; and
Success in the entrance exam up to 70 points.
2. For students who have high school diplomas and who have successfully passed the Matura exam:
The maximum number of points according to the following criteria is 100 points:
Success in high school up to 30 points;
Maturity success up to 30 points; and
Success in the entrance exam up to 40 points.
COMPETITION TIMES
The competition is announced on the official website of the University where the application dates are set.
Candidates must complete the application form - ONLINE APPLICATION by printing the application together with the payment slip.
Candidates cannot submit documents unless they have previously applied online and made the payment. The required documents according to the competition are submitted to the respective faculties.
Application documentation:
Birth certificate (original) not older than 6 months.
Certificates of all high school classes (original or notarized).
High school diploma and high school diploma if there was a high school diploma exam (original or notarized).
Copy of ID card.
Application form together with the payment of € 2.50.
